The Power of Advocacy in Everyday Life
Advocacy plays a vital role in creating stronger communities and better opportunities for children with disabilities and their families. For
Russell’s Resilience was created from one family’s experience navigating the challenges of raising a child with a rare disability.
Today, that experience has grown into a mission to help children with disabilities and their families find support, advocacy, resources, community, and hope.
Our mission is to provide support, advocacy, encouragement, meaningful resources, and community connections that help children with disabilities and their families feel empowered, supported, and connected to a compassionate community that truly cares.
For many families, daily life includes emotional, physical, and financial challenges that can feel overwhelming without the right support system. Therapy-related expenses, caregiving responsibilities, transportation needs, and emotional stress often build up over time, making even simple routines difficult. Because every family deserves support, dignity, and hope.
Families may face emotional, physical, financial, transportation, caregiving, and resource-access challenges.
The right connection, resource, or act of support can make a meaningful difference for a child and family.
Every family deserves compassion, dignity, encouragement, and a community willing to stand beside them.
